I have chosen the theme for my business from the whimsical 19th-century poem "The Owl and The Pussycat" by Edward Lear as, to me, it expresses the idea:
“LOVE CAN BE FOUND ANYWHERE AND WITH ANYONE.
LOVE IS AN ADVENTURE AND MARRYING IS PART OF THAT ADVENTURE.”
Wedding ceremonies should inspire memories of heartfelt happiness and joy. I would like to help make that happen for every couple I encounter.
After each wedding ceremony, the couple will receive a copy of their ceremony and the poem “The Owl and The Pussycat” printed on handmade paper.
As a memento of each couple’s special day, I also enclose a gift of an owl and a pussycat figurine which has been collected on my travels.
As I have lived in the area for over 35 years I may be able to assist in helping you source other suppliers or suggest venues and locations for your celebration.
Of all the occupations I've put my hand to, being a marriage celebrant is the best!
