Hi, this is Joanne Kirkland, a civil marriage celebrant based in Canberra. A Singaporean-born, I am bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese and have conversational proficiency in the Korean language (because the k-drama fan in me prefers the native language for a wholesome experience!)

Having sat through many unimpressionable ceremonies, I have always imagined a change in the script one day, to be more reflective of the couple, with carefully chosen anecdotes. Being the change never came to mind until we had one fun celebrant at our wedding!
